« An illustrated review of major mosaic artworks located in public spaces throughout Canada, especially in the central provinces of Ontario and Quebec, with emphasis on the contribution of Italian craftsmen (and especially those from the North-East region of Friuli) and on the achievements of artist Giovanni Gerometta (Galerie d’Art du Mont-Sainte-Anne). Discussion of methods involved in researching mosaics through interviews, photographs, archives and newspapers. »
